I'm new to this site,and i want to get to know other people.so, for some questions: I was wondering if anyone watched the democratic debate earlier this evening? If you did, what are your thoughts on it? And, what candidates do you like the most so far? personally, I liked Barack Obama and John Edwards, but now I'm not quite as sure. I haven't seen the perfect candidate, but then again, people can't be perfect.

glad to have you here. i didn't catch today's debate unfortunately.. i was at work while it was on. last i heard though while watching cnn earlier edwards was getting the best ratings from the undecided voters they polled after watching it. i'm someone who is a fan of edwards so i was happy to hear that news. there are several candidates that i really like but i do think that edwards stands out as an average guy who worked hiself up to his position rather than being born with a silver spoon in his mouth like our current president. like you said, there is no perfect candidate. we just have to make the choice as to which candidate we believe would be best for the country as a whole.

Thanks Ava! I think Edwards seems like an intelligent man, and I'm really pleased one of his bigger issues is ending poverty! It really makes me angry sometimes how some people have billions of dollars, and there are still some people in the United States(not to mention the rest of the world) who go hungry every night for lack of money. Fighting global warming is also something that I'm really interested in.

I did not watch however, I like Denis Kucinich on his policys.
He is the only candidate who opposed the Iraq war from the start, and the only one who promisses to end it.

I like Denis Kucinich also, he's not my favorite candidate for President, but I think he's a really smart guy. I do like his plan for the Iraq War, I don't like having our troops over there getting killed, and I don't like the fact that lots of Iraqi civilians are getting killed. and yay for him for trying to impeach Cheney! WOOHOO! I went to a Teach in on Impeachment a few weeks ago, it was pretty cool!
